Donald Trump (played by James Austin Johnson) used his “signature weave” to cook up a wild, rambling answer in a “Saturday Night Live” cold open parody of “Family Feud” this weekend.
“It’s called the weave, where I say lots of different things, but it all comes together so beautifully like an episode of ‘Seinfeld’ — ‘Seinfeld,’ you know, Jerry was always wearing mom jeans,” said Johnson as the GOP presidential nominee, who was asked about “something you keep in your glove compartment.”
Johnson’s Trump, who blasted the question as “unfair” since he hasn’t been in the front seat of a car, then moved from ’90s sitcom to immigration.
“He had bad genes, just like the immigrants who are ruining this country. They’re eating the pets, they’re eating Moo Deng,” Johnson said.
He continued, “We are getting our asses kicked. I mean, you look at Korea, you look at Japan, America’s not even included. There’s no room, so it’s like glove compartment, right? There’s no room. You see what I did there, Steve?”
Host Steve Harvey (played by Kenan Thompson) jokingly replied that he knows “exactly” what Trump did before turning to the answer board.
“Show me, dementia,” said Thompson as the strike sound from the game show played, indicating a wrong answer.
